arm: example code for a device driver

Hi!

I'm, working on a presentation about the ARM architecture. I'd like to introduce how using linux on top of ARM hides the complexity of working on device drivers. I'd like to get a sample of a "raw" ARM driver for whatever device you could think of (mouse? serial port? parallel port? a printer? whatever) where we could take a look at all juicy stuff involved in writing any device driver (all that stuff that linux would keep us from having to work on)... some 20-30 lines of could could suffice, I think.

Thanks in advance.

Also, I'd like to add a chart showing a comparison between x86 and ARM in terms of sheer process performance, power consumption and finally performance in terms of $ (how much money you had to spend to get the same calculation done on X86 and ARM). I'm looking around but don't find anything like this.

Thanks in advance.
