ProgrammingThis forum is for all programming questions.
The question does not have to be directly related to Linux and any language is fair game.

Are there any Word Processors that allow code instead of using a GUI?
I need to find a word processor that runs on either Fedora or Ubuntu that would allow me to easily replace whatever code there is that defines what is displayed on the page with code that I generate from an application that I will be writing myself so that I can print it, save it or export it to a .pdf file easily.
As a side note I am familiar with HTML and a little bit familiar with XML in case one of those is used by the word processor you reccomend.
Also: I'm triple booting Ubuntu, Fedora and Vista.
So, you want to generate publication quality documents from an application you are writing? My first thought has already been suggested: TeX output, which can be processed to many publication ready formats. Also, you could generate Postscript directly.
