An update, in case anyone is interested.
Hello,
As some of you may know, I have returned to the University to complete my degree. I am currently enrolled in two courses for my degree in computers, one for C++ and one on the UNIX Environment. I am now 1/2 way through the semester, so I thought I would post an update of my progress.
In my C++ class, we have covered the basics of variables and declarations, selection with if statements, repetition with while, for, and do-while loops, functions, and arrays. We have had 3 labs and 1 test. On my 3 labs I received 10/10 on all 3. On my test I received a 103% - the highest grade in the class.
In my UNIX Environment class we have covered utilities (i.e., ls, compress, whereis, etc.), file structure, the shell environment, and networking, and have just begun with shell scripting. We have had 1 lab and 1 test. On the lab I received a 19/20 (I goofed up the command 'newgrp'). On the test I received a 100% - again the highest grade in the class.
