i was wandering how to add sound to my webpage when it opens and when someone clicks on a certain link

some questions:

will the <BGSOUND tag work with many different broswers?
for the <EMBED tag what are the values for autostart just on/off?

Autostart is true or false, and actually everything in embed is true or false except for src, width and height.

ok the autostart and hidden wont work i have

<embed autostart=true hidden=true src=path/to/audio/file/ >

but it shows a little play button and won't auto start

also the <bgsound> will not work at all
