OSX on a Dell Latitude D630 but cant get wireless at all
I installed iATKOS on a partition of this laptop and the install went ok. I finally got it tweaked enough to work but the major problem for me was the lack of a wireless connection . Has anyone had success with the wireless? Would there be a better install? I would appreciate and advice or help. I really would like to have OSX on this laptop it doesnt have to be the iATKOS install.
The laptop is an intel duo dual 2.0 with 4 gigs of ram and it works very well currently with windows vista and Suse 11.0.
From what I can find it seems there are Linux distros that dont especially like the wireless hardware on this laptop and that may be the problem with OSX as well. Has anyone come up with a work around?
I had a problem with the wireless trying Kanotix, Foresight, Mepis, Sidux required a specific patch but then did connect, so I reverted to Suse because it had no problems with anything on the install and connects fine.
I just really would like to have OSX running on this Dell and appreciate any help.
Thanks,
A J
