Hi All:

I have a HPUX 11.11 box, and I would like to install bundle "GOLDAPPS11i (B.11.11.0509.429)" that was released in Setp. 2005 (480 MBs). So is there requirement to find out the disk requirement for the installation of the bundle? Since in my case, the space requirement is critical, and i need to know how much space is need for each directory, such for /stand /usr /var /opt , etc.

I tried to look around the HP-web side, but could not locate that information. Can someone point me to the right direction, give some suggestion if you have installed such bundle before?

Thanks for Patrick Wallek who has an answer for me:

The space required for the installation can be different each time the bundle is installed. It depends entirely on what patches you already have installed and which ones will need to be installed from the bundle.

The best thing to do is bring up swinstall (interactively), point it to the patch bundle, and go through the analysis portion. Once the analysis is done, there is a button labeled "disk space" which will give you the amount of disk space required for your particular installation.
