MEPIS on desktop and TREO 650 as modem

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm trying to connect to the internet using my TREO 650 as a modem.

I can do this with my TREO and my Laptop running Windoze XP and a program called PDAnet. I have not even bothered to go "wireless" between the TREO and the Laptop ...I just use the USB cable provided with the TREO.

I would REALLY like to be able to do the same thing with my Dell desktop running mepis.

Are there any programs that come with MEPIS that allow one to use their cell phone as a USB connected modem?

Thanks in advance.
