X (or XFS) won't accept unix/:-1
I've got a problem with my little MDK10.0 Community... It worked perfectly until 3 days ago, when the X wouldn't start no matter what... I looked through the logs (/var/log/XFree86.0.log) and there was an error on the lsat lines (duuh), something like font path unix/:-1 not valid and that is ignoring it... Ignoring it renedered my system fontless... and the X needs the default fixed font to run... as i have no fonts, i don't have the fixed font so X won't start.
This is my problem... The font path is set in the XFree86Config-4 and is unchanged since the installation, so it's not in the server config.
Th xset fp rehash won't work if there's no X running, I executed the fc-cache -fv and it cahced all the fonts in all the right dirs, the /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fs/config looks ok, the XFS is running, and yet there's something going wrong... I really have no ideea where else to search for solutions...
