Which calculator does Mandriva 08 have?

I really miss this calculator. Gcalctool 5.30.1 is not cutting it.

Thanks in advance!

It looks like Mandriva 2008 had gcalctool 5.20. The gcalctool website lists some alternatives.

Thanks for the Replies!

I don't think mandriva's 08 calculator was perfect but you could switch from binary to hex by changing which it displayed in, simple and easy. I'm trying to have yum install an RMP version of Kdeultilities on Gnome which usually does not work. I think it tries to install the dependencies but when it runs out of mirrors it just hangs. Thank you for your advise!

Wink Cheap and Dirty gcalctool5.20

Package kit would not install kcalc. Many many dependencies to install it with RPM, GUI stalled as expected so I installed gcalctool 5.20 for Fedora 8 on 13. RPM complained about the signature but it seems to work fine.

Thanks a lot for the HP links and info but I went for the cheap and dirty gcalctool5.20. It brings me back to My Mandriva days of where your calculator worked and did not suffer from application bloat. Pbone.net is like the library of Alexandria for Linux people is it not?

I have been through a number of calculators, both under linux and windows and ended up using online tools like...

http://pascalc.com/
http://my.hrw.com/math06_07/nsmedia/...alculator.html
http://web2.0calc.com/

I know these 3 have no ads on them but there are probably many more. This way I dont have to install anything every time I change OS or distro.
