Where is the logging of the Public File Server?


When i run a public file server, and have my friends connect to, i can only monitor the logging through the live connections, but what i want is to know if there is a logging file for this server that i can view all the connections made while i am not infront of my PC or not.

auth.log

check out /var/log/auth.log
