rpm installed right but is no where to be found!

I am running mdk 10.0. I have been using rpmdrake exclusively for software install, and successfully installed thunderbird that way a couple of days ago.

Today I installed ezpublish.

Everything went fine, rpmdrake had me insert CD 2 and 1 for some additional install packages. After the installation process was announced as a success I looked to start ezpublish from the star menu: I could not find it. neither could I find it in any of the submenus. I then tried launching from the konsole, no file present starting with ez.

Only one small error message came up about the "invalid signature ((SHA1) DSA SHA...md5(GPG) (missing key) GPG

This had also occurred during my thunderbird install, without consequences, so I do not imagine this is the reason for me not finding the executable.

Where should I look to find the executable for ezpulish. Also if someone could point to a way to correct this pgp error that happens every time I install software. Thanks

CGL

Try using the 'find files' option under 'find' from the start menu.

Sometimes a program will install without being put in the start menu.

Try this. 1)right click on start
2)click on "menu editor"
3)click on "save" This will update your menu, then have a look to see if the program you are looking for has been put in the menu

If it wasnt`t added you will have to add it by using the same process as described above but you will have to click on "add application" before clicking on save. You will have to know what the name of the executable is first. You can also select an icon of your choice to represent the program by clicking on the appropriate box, choosing the icon, clicking "ok" and then clicking save to update your menu again.

Goodluck!
