i dual boot with 9.1 and xp and recently have run into some problems that are going to cause me to reformat the XP partition and reinstall...is this going to be any problem as far as lilo or mandrake is concerned? i remember reading somewere that linux has to be installed after XP...thanks
XP will overwrite your MBR when you reinstall it so you'll have to install LILO to it again I suspect. Other than that it shouldn't cause any problems.
One way to re-install LILO is to boot from the 1st Mandrake cd and press F1 for advanced options - youll be able to go into the rescue mode and re-installl LILO to your MBR.
