problems with cdrdao in mandrake9.1
Since installing Mandrake 9.1 I've had nothing but problems with
Cdrdao.
My first question is How to determine a devices id as in
bus,id,lun.
I am trying to copy a data cd on the fly with this syntax:
cdrdao -copy --source-device 0,?,0 --device 0,0,0 --on-the-fly
--eject
I get an error message that says it can not find the source device
The next part of this is that when I try to use k3b.
During the setup the program detects my dvd-rom,
samsung 152c cd-rom, and samsung 224 cd-writer.
When I go to use the program itself though the drop down
menu's have the writer listed only in the reader device location and nothing at all listed in the pull down box for the writer.
When I try to add a device manually in
/dev/ide/host2/taget0/lun0/
K3b says there are no acceptable devices here, althought this is where the samsung 152 is located.
Are these issues tied together? Please help. I'm frustrated.
