newb needs help with an nvidia geforce2 mx 400


I just installed mandriva 2006, but i have a problem with graphics. I can't see anything on my monitor when i boot. the display s is all fuzzy, or there is no display, depending on the choices i make in the display configuration during installation. Like I said I have a nvidia geforce2 mx 400 card and a benq fp737 monitor

We need more info: Is this with the defalt nv drivers? Mandrive is quite good a determining hardware anymore but there are always exceptions. So if this is with the default driver then is must be with the horiz. or vertical sync. Look up the specs on your monitor, google for them. Try that and then report back.
