Networking mandrake 10.1 with winXP & Fedora 5

Can anybody step-by-step guide me in the process of networking mandrake with fedora 5 and winxp seperately. I have two PCs, one with the winxp and fedora 5 installed and other with mandrake. I want to connect these to via NIC card (installed) to share internet connection, printing nd other resources.

regards

What type of internet connection are you using? If broadband are you using a router?
Both Fedora and Mandrake have good wizards that can help you setup up your network connections and printing.

This was a good resource to learn about networking
http://www.linuxhomenetworking.com/

I strugled to do a NIC to NIC cable connection, mostly
because of firewall settings, so watch these carefully.

If you have a router, sharing the net connection will be easy.
If not, this is more complicated

Not sure somebody will; maybe. Usually people would rather answer/help
with specific problem/question where you do homework/research and
ask about something you do not understand

I cannot find previous thread on same subject, sorry, will post
if I can find it.

PS: here it is
An example of what not to do, or how you can get bugged into it
It works at home, but explaining is another thing.
Anyhow it lists example of important commands

Hope it helps
