Network install of 10.0 freezing

I'm trying to do a network install of Mandrake 10.0 onto my laptop, but it keeps freezing at the "Loading program into memory..." screen. I have a local mirror of the 10.0 official tree and I can see that the laptop has connected
Code:
Active Internet connections (servers and established)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:80 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 26065 192.168.2.201:80 192.168.2.202:1024 ESTABLISHED
but nothing is happening. I've tried this before when I installed my desktop and everything worked fine. I've also redownloaded and recopied network.img and network_drivers.img several times onto several different floppies using the laptop's floppy drive. Anyone have any ideas?
