my sound driver is dead....

Two days ago, my linux box stopped making sound out of the speakers, can anyone help?

In order to answer this question....we need a little bit MORE info..

Thats like going to the Dr. and saying my arm hurts, fix it NOW.

There's a billion things it could be.

Are you using ALSA?? What's your system? what CARD are you using? How long did it work, and what did you do right before it stopped?
