MP3 No Sound

Hmmm couldnt find any threads or things on google with this problem - similair but not exact...

Basicaly i try and open an MP3 with XMMS or another Media Player which is pre-installed, cant remember name, and it shows as if it is playing (the seconds countdown) but no sound comes out.

If i put a music cd in the sound works, or just basic linux desktop click sounds or whatevr work... but not from mp3 files...

Any ideas?

Cheers!

Hi rkn!

Same problem like me! But i solved it! I just hat to change the audio-output-plug-in from OSS to ALSA! You can change it in the settings of xmms!
Hope it will work! Just try it!

Cheers!
