Mouse is going crazy

I have a USB Ms Intellimouse Explorer 3 which is going crazy on first boot it worked except the 2 side buttons weren't working now the whell doesn't work and from time to time the side button act as the wheel. right clic is totally heratic.

Which Mandrake are you using ? 10.0 ? 9.2 ? And which driver did you tell the install program to use ?

I have a Logitech usb dual pickup mouse which worked fine until 10.0. Then with the new default driver (universal) it really did start acting crazy. Changing it back to the old usb wheel mouse setting it defaulted to before 10.0 fixed everything. This may not have anything to do with your problem but if you're using 10.0 you could try that, or possibly the ms explorer setting under usb.

Cheers that's what I finally did, I used the ms explorer settings.

Right click left click and wheel now work fine but I can't seem to be able the 2 buttons on the left.fglrxinfo

Atm on is acting as a left click and the other one seems to act as a paste button.

Is it possible to configure the 2 side buttons to use as back and forward in Konqueror?
