After upgrating from mandrakeand 10.0 to "Mandriva limited edition 2005", drakconf doesn't start.
After cliking shortcut on the desktop and having entered the root password, the starting icon appears normally on the medium of the screen, but it disappears at once and nothing any more occurs.
I need the drakconf because several problems appeared and I don't want to correct them manually.
I start to think that in "Mandrake" world, the more that evolves and the less that goes. I bought my fisrt one (the 7.0 version) and It worked fine (only a installation problem with XFree); but all those which I downloaded and tested since (I bought also 9.0), disappointed me and I think this one will be the last one.
and
I already did what you suggested me and the error message was
Gtk-WARNING **: Impossible de trouver le moteur de thème dans module_pathÂ_: «Â_galaxyÂ_» at /usr/sbin/drakconf.real line 86.
Undefined subroutine &network::netconnect::load_conf called at /usr/sbin/drakconf.real line 496.
It seems like there is a roblem with your gtk installation. Can you translate the part thats in French into English, maybe it will provide more clues as to exactly what the problemis.
