Mandriva 2007 DVD ISO file size is only 332MB?

I want to download Mandriva 2007 x86_64 Power pack DVD edition. However, when I go to download it the .iso is only 332MB. I thought maybe it was just that site, so I looked at some Mandriva mirrors and all the DVD ISO files are roughly the same size.

I already have it on CD, so I guess its not the end of the world, but I do prefer it on DVD.
Can anyone explain this?

Maybe it's because the ISO is just an image of all the data on the DVD and therefore is smaller than the actual full size of a DVD ROM.

I hope I made it clearer for you.

once i try to down load fodora live cd from http://linux.softpedia.com and the site write its size 132 MB and i know they must be mistake ..but when i try to down load it, i found it more than 650 MB..

332 MB..i do not think so..it is must be a mistake..

The ISO file itself was 332MB after the download was complete. The file was listed as 3.99GB. All the mirrors I tried were like that. I guess I will just have to burn the image and see what happens.

try to down load again..you have an error during down load ..please re down load or you will lose one disc.
