mandrakeclub 10.0 mirrors have errors
I installed Mandrake 10.0 Community today. All worked well, and I went to www.mandrakeclub.com to set up the urpmi sources.
It was just not possible, because there where lots of broken code or something in the php-code. Do anyone know where I can get 10.0 urpmi sources from?
Yes, you will have to use the cooker sources until the public release. Then the 10 sources will be frozen. If you need to fix something, you probably want the cooker anyway.
Here is some info from someone who really knows (TMB, of working kernel fame) found on the cooker mailing list:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cooker will always be Cooker, a moving target...
10.0 Community Version will live in the stable branch,
and needed updates / fixes will be added (or backported) from cooker ...
If you look at your Cooker mirror, you will se that the trees
are in the process of being splitted...
So there will be:
cooker & stable (the later is the community version...)
contrib & contrib-stable (the later is the community version...)
AFAIK there will be more info on this when the split is finalized...

Speaking of setting up URPMI, I was wondering what text file stores all of the media you have added, so I can backup that file somewhere...that way I don't have to manually re-add all of those urls I have found over previous months!
