mandrake splash screen kernel drivers ???

hello all, i need to know what do i need to enable in the kenel configuration to be able to put the vga=788 option in lilo.conf and to be able to see the splash screen.

Try bootsplash.org
Have you tried http://bootsplash.org for information?
