Mandrake 9.2 - Lots of install problems

Well, I cleared it, but it didnt to anything aprt from set the date back to 1998.

Still not working.

It always locks up on

PCI: Found IRQ 5 for device 00:0f.0

Is there anyway to find what it is, so I can pull it out?

Ok, I have it going.

Linux always locked up on initio.o, so when i was looking in my computer, i saw something that said initio.

Nothing was plugged into it, so i pulled it out. Wonderful!

Seems to work smoothly now.

yes, back up.

your playing with two unknowns here. the first is how old your computer is and second how new the new mandrake is

deductively get rid of one of these variables if you want to make any progress or be prepared to for several challenging learning curves

i'd suggest using mandrake 9.1 as it's the stablest thing they have right now and off the bat removes a host of variables for you.
