Hallo !!

Have found this wonderful forum today and wanna know what the hell is going on with my Mandrake 10.

The Problem is now :

When i install the package downloaded at winehq for mandrake it installs as normal as my old Mandrake 9.1 had done ...

But wine doesn't start any *.exe files anymore ! When i wanted to unistall it in the controll panel of mandrake it was no more able to be opened :-S !

I had to go into the root modus to unistall the software and to run my Mandrake again as normal User :-S !

I don't know what i made wrong but on 9.1 wine worked almost perfekt and started many exe files.

Has anyone a clue what could I have made wrong ?

if you downloaded it from winhq and compiled it, then you won't see it in your package manager. but if you still have the dir on your disk that you compiled from just type as root: make uninstall

don't see why you downloaded it because wine is already on your cd's.
