Mandrake 10 freezes AFTER booting, while loading KDE (maybe its kde's fault?) plzhelp
right so i load mandrake and it goes through all those passes, (except bringing up interface eth0, i already posted something about that in linux newbies forum) everything passes and then it goes to the blue screen that sopposed to load kde, but isntead it just freezes! the mouse pointer is an X and i can move it around but nother ever loads. now the weird thing is, when i tell grub to load linux-nonfb (nonfb? i forgot wat it was im on windows right now) it loads kde and everything fine! i dunno wats wrong with the regular linux option in grub, should i just always load the other option? thanks for any help
