Mandrake 10: Can't open CDs burned with k3b in Windows

Everytime I burn a cd using K3b using Mandrake 10 Community I'm not able to open the cd using Windows. They work fine with Linux, though. I'm also having problems coping audio CD's.

Is anyone else running into strange problems with CD burning in Mandrake? Is there an option I need to check? ....filesystem?

Thanks,
Chris

k3b is probably defaulting to RockRidge extensions, Windows uses Joliet extensions. When I ran Mandrake 9.1 there was a place somewhere in k3b to select Joliet extensions. I have heard that Joliet extensions do not follow the standards, but that is all that will work with Windows.

When you go to burn, check out the 'Filesystem' tab. You can change to joliet there (Rock Ridge is default, as rjw1678 said). It is too bad that MS does not include support for this in their OS, maybe in SP2?
