The only way I've personally everr used ndiswrapper is woith the built in gui utility that is built into later mandriva distros (2005 LE / 2006, I don't think it was built into 10.1 although it may be worth a look) and that worked with marginal success.
I currently use madwifi with an atheros card and it works great.
Sorry if i'm not much help.
If your Mandrake 10.1 does not find the card and boot it automatically, then you need to go to
Mandrake 10.2 or 2006. Most of the popular drivers are now included.
Ndiswrapper is a choice but very rarely works, I have tried it with numerous cards that are unlisted and did not any to work.
If you run 64 but machines no wireless cards work at all, unless you pay $20 via Linuxant for their chipsets.
Look at the list of drivers in Mandrake and see if your wireless card is included, if not then better get yourself a card that is included in Mandrakes driver list.
Hello,
How can install my wireless card in Mandriva? when i run the ndiswrapper it demand me the file inf, where can i get this file?
my wireless card is broadcom 802d/g
Thanks for your reply
