Mandrake 10.0 Network Install "Error: Bad Host Name"

First post!

I am using the network install from floppy. My CD won't read the CD installer.

Anyhow, I am using DHCP, and I don't put anything into the host name screen. After I enter an ftp server and location, I get the error in the thread title.

Do I need to put something in for the host name? How can I find out what to type there?

My NetGear router is my DHCP server. All computers on the network are set up to obtain an IP automatically. I use BellSouth DSL, and my router logs in using PPPoE. My DSL modem is set to Bridged Ethernet.

Thanks in advance.

Tony

I got the same error this morning. I solved it by using the ip address of the server instead of the url name.
