Has anyone got k3b or Krusader to work on Mandrake 9.0
I haven't found any binary rpms, so I tried to build from source.
First it complained about Qt version (>= 3.1), so I downloaded and compiled latest qt3.2.3, now it complaints about KDE
i think your problem is that you downloaded k3b .10 or .11 and that you don't have the required dependancies to run it, such as like you state the newer version of kde ....
you probably have to "downgrade" to a version such as 0.9 or .8.1, or upgrade kde ..
i am not sure about krusader, maybe its the same type of problem ... and maybe you could try a earlier version ... or again like stated upgrade kde .. but don't take my word on krusader, but it wouldn't hurt to try to see if a earlier version works ...
However, I don't want to run either of older versions of Krusader and k3b, since they don't have features I need. I guess I'll have to upgrade my KDE. I don't use KDE at all anyway, but IceWM...
