can someone please tell me how to disable the email alerts? i was just playing around (linux newb) and turned that function on in the logdrake (running mandrake 9.2) and now i don't see any way to stop it. i guess i could put in a phoney email address but that's not really the best answer.
glad to hear you got it solved. Why don't you post what you did to fix the problem in case anyone is searching these forums looking for the same thing?
good idea. now, what the hell did i do? oh yeah there was a perl script in etc/cron.hourly called logdrake or something like that (can't remember) and i deleted it. problem solved.
