IPv6 in browsers in Mandrake 10.0

Hi all,
I have an annoying problem with IPv6 in browsers in Mandrake 10.0.

It appears that IPv6 works fine until I try to reach some address through Firefox or Konqueror.

For example, when I do traceroute to kame dot net
traceroute6 kame.net (I intentionally replaced some addreses with ##s)
traceroute to kame dot net (2001:200:0:8002:203:47ff:fea5:3085) from ##, 30 hops max, 16 byte packets
1 ## 0.482 ms 0.308 ms 0.266 ms
2 ## 48.66 ms 30.292 ms 22.951 ms
3 ## 16.563 ms 16.164 ms 16.731 ms
4 ## 53.697 ms 54.129 ms 58.655 ms
5 ## 148.189 ms 147.736 ms 147.356 ms
6 atlang-washng.abilene.ucaid.edu (2001:468:ff:118::1) 163.736 ms 196.358 ms 173.103 ms
7 hstnng-atlang.abilene.ucaid.edu (2001:468:ff:e11::2) 193.854 ms 188.238 ms 186.961 ms
8 losang-hstnng.abilene.ucaid.edu (2001:468:ff:1114::2) 218.106 ms 224.486 ms 216.363 ms
9 tpr2-transpac-la.jp.apan.net (3ffe:8140:101:1::2) 361.631 ms 329.955 ms 330.368 ms
10 hitachi1.otemachi.wide.ad.jp (2001:200:0:1800::9c4:2) 331.497 ms 352.49 ms 338.78 ms
11 pc3.yagami.wide.ad.jp (2001:200:0:1c04::1000:2000) 332.752 ms 330.991 ms 330.974 ms
12 gr2000.k2.wide.ad.jp (2001:200:0:4819::2000:1) 332.3 ms 332.506 ms 333.16 ms
13 orange.kame.net (2001:200:0:8002:203:47ff:fea5:3085) 335.704 ms 339.606 ms 333.049 ms

so, it resolves IPv6 addresses, and IPv6 works. Also telnet, ssh, ping all work with IPv6 and symbolic addresses. But when I try to reach kame dot net through Firefox (v0.9.3) or Konqueror, it always go through IPv4, so no dancing Kame... I tried also //[2001:200:0:8002:203:47ff:fea5:3085]/, and it worked...

Browsers are set to direct connection to the Internet without any proxies.

I also checked about:config in Firefox, and variable network.dns.disableIPv6 is set to false.

It seems that I have some problem with DNS resolving IPv6 in browsers, but I don't have any further ideas how to handle this...

Does anyone have an idea about what should I do?
Thanks and regards,
Mirror

Have you tried Firefox 1.0 or Opera (or even lynx or links)?
This site (http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=9351) seems to indicate that sometimes apache
can have a problem with IPV6.

And this (http://mailman.isi.edu/pipermail/6bo...ay/005407.html) suggests you should try accessing
http://www.ipv6.cnit.it for starters.
