Exclamation Installing Apollon in MDK10

I've read every thread regarding apollon, and still can't get it installed...

I'm trying to get it installed with the apollon installer.

it says it can't find lgift (originally libgift before a strange copy paste maneuver)

help me install apollon, PLEASE.

ps: i'm a linux noob

Wink Apollon - Gift - Install

Download all the rpm's with the words gift and Apollon from http://public.www.planetmirror.com/p...rake/10.0/i586

Install them starting with libGift0....

Make sure you download all the required rpm's - they are all there.

Note that a lot of 'underground' suff can be got from the P.L.F.

I just finished doing that, and I still can't get apollon installed.

this is just ridiculous...

how in hell can it be possible ?

it says it can't install apollon rpms because gift-plugin wasn't satisfied (?!?!?!)

I don't know if you still look at this forum for your answer but the best way to install Apollon is to get the all-in-one install package.

Open your console and run it with the sh command. You will get a graphical install and should be fine from there.
