Install KDE Themes in 2006?

I know it was somewhat of a pain inthe ass in Version 10, but what about 2006? When I installed the nVidia driver it was easy... No screwing with .conf files, it just worked. init 3, sh NVIDIA.... bang, done. I see the nvidia splash screen and everything.
What about installing windows themes?

eh???

There is no version 10 or 2006 of kde. And what does nVidia driver have to do with kde themes? Windows themes?
What are your trying to do here?
