Install from ISO

I try to install from burned ISO's, and it says:

Can't locate steps.pm in @INC (@INC contains: (list of files) at /usr/bin/perl-install/install2.pm at line 10
Begin failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/perl-install/install2.pm at line 10
Compilation failed in require at /usr/bin/runinstall2 line 31
Begin failed--compilation aborted require at /usr/bin/runinstall2 line 31
Install exited abnormally :-(

Then it kills and unmounts everything and tells me to reboot

I'm not sure what to do, since the ISO should work without tampering (right?)

Sorry for the question but what is "it"?

What have you done to get "it" this far?

What version of Mandrake is this? (Was this trying to install mandrake?) at what point did this happen, what were you doing, etc.

Sorry I was so vague... I was installing Mandrake 9.1 on a toshiba satelite laptop, and right after it configured the pmcia card (I had only told it to start install, and before it got into whatever menu's it has, it went straight to this error...
