How to mount the Pen drive

I have a pen dirve but i dont know how to mount it to my Mandriva Linux 2007, so that, my OS is accessible to my pen drive.

Your help is greatly appreciated by me.

mount /dev/sda1 /media/pendrive

This assumes the pendrive is sda1 and you have a /media/pendrive mountpoint.

I'm not sure if you need this,
But here is what I did to have an icon show up whenever I plug the pen drive in, then I just click on the icon to open a graphical file browser.
