How to install Azureus and j2re


I want to install Azureus.First I need java runtime environment.
Can you help me and show me a way,how can I install this?
Is java runtime environment in Mandrakes softwaredatabase or on the official 3CDs or must I go to the homepage of java?

Hi,

go to java.sun.com and download the JRE 1.4.XXX (whatever)
You only need the JDK if want to programm in Java.

Download the tar.gz installer.
Read the doc,
install
...

Then start azureus as described in the azureus docs.
