how to dual boot mandrake 10.1 and Fedora Core 3

how to dual boot mandrake 10.1 and Fedora Core 3.
i read so many threads related to it but
first of all i have two partitions , the first for mandrake and the second one for FC3
i installed mandrake first then after when i want to install FC3 it tells to specify a root folder so i change the root folder to the second partition and i didn't install a bootloder for FC
then when i want to reboot mandrake cannot find the root folder anymore
so could someone tells a step by step for assigning the root folder so that i can boot the two linux
thnx for the help

Can you boot any of the two linuxes? If you can't use the boot disk, to come into one. Anyone.

Once there run fdisk -l as root. See if the partitions that have boot files on them, are actually bootable.
