How do I list gsteamer plugins in Mandriva 2010?

Yes this would be a unsupported system.

Thanks in advance!

I'm interested in learning how to compile plugins because they are a a major annoyance with all of my distros even the up-datable ones. Mandriva 2010 server install has gvim , abiword ,k3b ,Soundconverter , Fillzilla ,Kword , Audacity ,Bluefish , Emacs ,Anjuta and Kdevelope 4. There is not much left that a person could want. This is the distro I use when I get bored.

Hi, you may find a list by typing...

gstreamer-properties

in a shell, it produces a small window where you can see what plugins are available through the drop-down-menues for input and output audio and video.

hth, regards Glenn
