Question How do I get Windows Streaming Video to run in Mandriva Discovery 2007

I've used Mandriva ONE 2007, and Loved it, I don't mind the few extra bucks for Discovery over the FREE Version, One already had the 3D Acceleration I wanted without having to install the Prop drivers myself.
As I had to do with so many other distro's.

It just made installing a little eaiser for me thats all.
So to me it was worthe the MONEY...

My question is this HOW DO I get Windows Streaming Video to run off of internet sites?

I've tried installing MPlayer and all it's Various Plugins.
I can get the Sound but NO VIDEO... ...

I've tried KPlayer by itself, and I get need additional Plugins, And no sound either...

I use to use Ubuntu and it was a real pain to get Streaming Video to work, although I did it many times.

Mepis worked out of the box for the Most part with a little TWEAKING.

And Freespires did without a Prob out of the box...

Could anyone PLEASE Tell me the files in Mandriva's RPM repo's I need to get my Streaming Video to work, as it should?

Thanks to all for ANY and ALL Suggestions.

Have you installed the wi32-codec package? If it is not included in the discovery pack, you can get it at the plf non-free media source.

To set up the plf sources, go to the Easy URPMI WEB site.

There you can also set up Internet sources for Main, Contrib, Main-Updates, Contrib-updates, Main-backports, Contrib-backports, plf free, plf free-backports, plf non-free, and plf non-free-backports.

This is not a perfect solution. Remember that Windows streaming video is a proprietary Microsoft technology, and has not been released to the Open Source community. Sorry if this is not what you wanted to hear.

When I get to a site that streams formats which I can not read without proprietary software such as IE or Windows Media Player, I send a message to the WEB master to remind that there are Millions of users on the WEB who do not use Windows, and that they should not ignore a 5% to 10% increase in potential market share. If enough of us Linux users take the time to do this, we will see less proprietary streaming video or audio on the WEB.
