How disable numlock before it gets to Log-in Screen?
I recently installed Mandrake 10 on laptop where some of the letter keys can double as a numeric keypad. The problem is that when I get to the log-in prompt, it is enabled by default which causes me to type in the wrong user passord.
Now you can automatically disable numlock on each users KDE session but that occurs AFTER you have logged in.
Iīd rather not have to disable this every time I log in. Any ideas?
Why thanks cb_linus. Hadnīt occured to me to look there.
Although I can't reboot just yet to verify this as Iīm using Mandrake as an environment to build a Gentoo Linux on another partition. However when I switch to a different virtual console, the new setting seems to be in effect. I had the same problem with it being enabed when I changed consoles.
