Having one heck of a time installing Nvidia driver

Thanks to the help of this forum, I figured out how to run the Nvidia driver as root. However, It said something about no pre-compiled kernel found. Then later after I tried to let it find one at Nvidia, this is what it said:

Unable to find the kernel header files for the current running kernel. Please make sure you have installed the kernel header files for your kernel; On red Hat Linux systems for example, be sure you have the 'kernel-source' RPM installed. If you know the correct kernel header files are installed, you may specify the kernel include path with the '--kernel-include-path' commandline

Please help!
