FireFox 1.0.1 Install

Next thing I am trying to install FireFox 1.0.1 I downloaded it and have found the install how to on the firefox site, but I am coming up with an error.

the install is done as so, or at lest this is what firefox says I should do.

tar -xzvf firefox-1.0.installer.tar.gz
cd firefox-installer
./firefox-installer

I get to the last line fine, then I get this error after typing in the last line:

./firefox-installer-bin: error while loading shared libaries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

I have tryed this in both root and my user
