DiscoveryLX and 2006

What is the difference in Mandriva Discovery LX and Mandriva 2006. I am a little confused with all the different versions. Which Mandriva version should a complete noob choose?

In a nutshell, Mandriva 2006 is basically the entire operating system and Mandriva Discovery-Live is a virtual operating system on a CD, that works when you boot up on any PC. I think its pretty neat actually.

I suggest you go with both.....

One to carry or play with and one to have on your home or business PC...

Discovery LX is for newbies or people who do not want all the features of the full Mandriva OS. More info is on the Mandriva website.
