create alias


Hi all,

I am new to mandrake and i am using mandrake 10.1 . everytime I start a new session the alias goes back to its default. does anyone can help me?

Yes, temporary aliases disappear as soon as you log out. You can add permanent aliases in /etc/profile.d/alias.sh.

Just be careful and remember what you've done. To see a list of the aliases that are already assigned, type "alias" at the command line.
