can't connect to internet through wireless

i have mandriva linux limited edition 2005, and i have a hp pavilion zv5000, and i've been trying to connect to the internet trough my wireless connection but i can't because linux doesn't recognise the driver for the ethernet card, so i would like to know what posibilities do i have , also have the machine with dual booting. and i've been trying to install the windows driver for the card but no luck so far, please advise what to do in this situation, thanks.

May be the ndiswrapper wiki page can help you. Thats how I got mine
working. If your wireless card is listed here, it will work fine.
