It is possible the mirrors are getting re-populated and may be down temporarily. Sometimes my ISP can be the culprit also due to heavy traffic or what I don't know, where the connection time's out, but usually trying a few hours later works.

I've been waiting quite a while now and I'm getting bored.
Which ftp-server is the most reliable?
I've tryed Sunet and Czech Republic and I still get the same response from them.
If only there was a way for me to install all the packages needed without adding a mirror.
With the release of 2007.1 in the last couple of days connecting to the mirrors has been sketchy as they have been updating to accomodate the new packages. You might also be running into problems if the mirrors connection limits are exceeded - possible with many people trying to upgrade. One solution might be set up a couple of repositories in URPMI , & try the alternative one after disabling the ones that didn't work in MCC -> Update -> Choose From You Update (uncheck the Enabled box for the repository you want to disable). Keep trying!
