Accidentally removed the default panel

Hi,

I have Mandriva One 2009.0 installed and I accidentally removed the default panel with the start menu, task manager etc. How do I get it back? I tried adding a panel but it always goes to the top and it's empty. I tried manually adding widget to the new panel too but I can't find the right ones, I can't seem to put them where I want them to be, and they seem to be aligned vertically(and hence look very squashed horizontally) rather be aligned horizontally.

Hi Been there..
I think I went to my home directory and set it to view hidden files and .kde4 share(if thats you DM) and deleted the configuration directory..
After reboot KDE will reset itself to the default settings..
Note this is from my bad Memory so wait till someone else confirms this
method..

Goodluck,
jolphil

Oh Good
Glad you got it going..It was pretty scary to see how
much, and so easy it was to wipe out a good Display mgr.

It would have been more accurate to say that you were told how to do it in another forum and helpful to other users to post a link to the solution:
