just testing 2008.1

open office slide show open an existing file....my standard tests show that even with all components installed......hitting F5 after opening an existing file....displays the first page.

No matter whether I try a timer....manual .....page down used to work in 2008.0....and other settings that show up in the slide show area....not the tools area....I can not get it to display the second page.

Funny enough with animations enabled....a page with animation shows a blank background and a blank animation box appearing...this box is supposed to have more text in it.

The main problem is when I try manual...a background page appears ....changing that background to black or white.....makes no difference.

I am at a lost at this stage.

I may have to wait for system updates or just install the ooo site's binaries

what version of OOO is included with Mandriva? The most recent OOO is 2.4. I would suggest just getting the binaries from the OOO website. That is what I did and my OOO works fine.

I don't use "PowerPoint", but when I have used it I have never had any problems.

v 2.04.04 mdv edition....yes I may have to go generic.
