Why is Gentoo not in the Distro Forum?

I was just wondering why gentoo is not in the list under Distributions? I though that was odd.

They only include distros after an official member of the distro's team agrees to participate. I think.

You are correct, we've always had this policy as we would like the distribution to be a participant in some way. This is asked quite frequently and answered all the time, a search will provide more details.

I had been in contact with someone from Gentoo and getting a forum setup looked like a sure thing. I haven't heard back in a little while on this though.
